Absolutely love this application! I am using the newest USB version. When closing the application it does not save my contacts nor my sent or received messages.

@Fred Sorry, because of limitation of BlackBerry API, the feature you mentioned can’t be implemented now.
I am very sorry for the inconvenience.

    Hello

I like Quicker SMS very much, and have a suggestion to make: In case an SMS/text message comes in while the Blackberry is connected to the PC through USB, I think it’d be useful to mark the message as read on the BB.

Currently, the user has to delete those messages on the BB even when he already read them on the PC.

    @Teddy Gilmore
Have you installed Quicker SMS blackberry side program by OTA on your phone?

Hi Joe, any chance of integrating a ‘exclude list’ – i get my numbers from our website and send around 1500 texts at a time. however some want to unsubscribe and its a big job taking 20 or 30 off the list everytime i get the latest list.

if you had an ‘exclude list’ of numbers i could just put those numbers on there.

software is brilliant by the way, this is just a suggested improvement

In fact, there is no limitation when you sending sms each time.
All sms will be put in a queue and will be sent out one by one.
The speed is about 5 to 15 or more per minute which depends on your mobile network performance.

“Splitted as 1X standard sms length” means the content of your sms to be sent will be splitted as 160 characters per message. For example, if you input 640 characters, then these characters will be sent out in 4 sms messages.
But if you select 4X option, then these 640 characters will be sent out in ONE sms message(this need your phone’s support).
BTW: for the phone which used in CDMA network, will not support this option.

Guys, my apologies if i put my question in the wrong field. My question is what does “Splitted as 1X standard sms length” mean (at the end of “Input sms”)? i wrote sms and go to the “sent sms” field and find that my sms was divided into 2 or even 3 small parts, i infer that carrier charge me several times for these parts?

    joe,

i am enjoying the software. keep on developing it and you will have a great hit. i wish you success.

my wish list is for you to, make contacts sortable. to have my sms message appear in the message list on my BB bold after sending, NOT just in your software window. Take a look at Nokia PC Suite for some really good ideas
